Door and Window Installation Construction Process and Quality Requirements for Work Procedures

Layer & Exterior Finishing → Exterior Sealant Application → Water Spray Test → Inspection & Acceptance.

(II) Quality Requirements for Work Procedures

Pre-installation Inspection:

Verify wall surface flatness and verticality meet standards. Recheck the baseline provided by civil works.

The "Three Lines" (baseline references) must be handed over to the door/window installer, who shall strictly adhere to them for dimensional control.

Installation of Fixing Plates:

Fixing plates shall connect window frames.

For corners: Fixing plates ≤200mm from frame edges; for other areas: spacing ≤400mm (evenly distributed).

Plates must anchor to concrete surfaces, installed with an "inner-high, outer-low" slope.

Gap Treatment Between Frame and Wall:

Waterproof mortar: Fill gaps at the base and 200mm upward on both sides.

Foam filler: Apply to remaining gaps (ensure full compaction).

Pre-requirements: Clean gaps and apply primer before mortar; remove protective film from frames.

Foam application: Remove protective film; apply foam continuously (no breaks). Excess foam must be pressed flush (no knife cutting). Ensure full compaction at joints.

Plastering:

Follow screed dots strictly; control verticality/flatness of openings.

Avoid tapered finishes ("big-small ends") or "outer-high, inner-low" slopes at exterior edges.

Pre-treat substrate to prevent hollowing or cracks.

JS Waterproof Coating:

Apply two coats around frames, overlapping the frame by ≥5mm and extending 50mm onto the wall.

Pointing with Waterproof Mortar:

Mix ratio (cement:water = 1:4); arc-shaped grooving to prevent moisture penetration.

Exterior Sealant Application:

After exterior finishes are dry, apply neutral silicone sealant into pre-reserved joints between frames and finishes.
